How much folate do supplements contain?

The median product lists 400 mcg per serving. One in ten lists 100 mcg or less, one in ten 800 mcg or more. The amount printed most often is 400 mcg (2,828 products).

Which forms of folate do labels name?

Methylfolate (5-MTHF) is the form named most often: 2,069 of the 12,112 folate products (17%), ahead of folic acid (2,018, 17%) and folinic acid (159, 1%). A product naming two forms counts in both; the table below gives every form.
